T1EHL congratulates former Thunderbirds player, Cale Morris, for signing a 1-year contract with AHL Rockford, affiliate of the NHL Chicago Blackhawks!

Morris played with the Thunderbirds from 2008-2013 then went on to Junior Hockey at USHL Waterloo Black Hawks and Chicago Steel, and College Hockey at Notre Dame.

He has a long list of accomplishments from his college playing days at Notre Dame including serving as alternate captain his senior year 2019-2020; posting the top career save percentage in program history with a .931; his 2.18 career goals-against average ranks second; and his 58 victories (58-35-11) also ranks second.

Morris was an All-American and Mike Richter Award Winner as the NCAA top goaltender in 2018, named Big Ten Tournament's Most Outstanding Player in 2018 and 2019, plus totaled 15 weekly Big Ten honors in his 3 seasons as starting goaltender earning First Star 8 times, Second Star 4 times, and Third Star 3 times!

T1EHL is proud of Morris and all of its players who continue to advance in the ranks of hockey. Where do you go from here? Everywhere.
