Tier 1 Elite Hockey would like to congratulate an alumni from our league, Tanner Palocsik, who recently received the honor of being named USPHL’s NCDC Defenseman of The Year 2018-2019. This is a huge accomplishment for Palocsik who will be playing for Dartmouth College a NCAA D1 school this fall. Currently, Palocsik plays for the New Jersey Hitmen of the NCDC.

Palocsik spent his youth hockey career playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite and from there has continued to work hard and refine his skills as he has worked to becoming an incredible defenseman. He was the number one top scorer within the NCDC and skated a great defense. His statics are impeccable, as he gave up 103 total goals over the course of 50 games. He has also had other impressive statics to show for. All of his hard work and dedication has made him into the hockey player he is today.

The President for the New Jersey Hitmen and the Associate Coach had this to say about Palocsik, “Simple is not easy and Tanner mastered simplicity.” He will be a great asset to Dartmouth College and he certainly left his mark on our program for many years to come.”

We are very proud of Tanner and his accomplishments! We are excited to watch him grow as an individual and a hockey player in the years to come.
