Every young hockey player has goals and dreams for himself and works hard to achieve them. Hockey is a sport that takes hard work, practice, and hundreds of hours on the ice to become one of the greatest players. All of this has been exactly what Joseph Cecconi has done. All of his drive and determination has made him very successful in the sport of hockey and has been a player to keep your eye on.
Cecconi spent his time playing youth hockey for the Buffalo Jr. Sabres of the T1EHL and additionally has played for the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the USHL. In 2015, Cecconi was drafted by the Dallas Stars in the 5th round, 133rd overall.
From there, he spent time refining his game and his love for hockey continued to grow stronger and clearer. Fast forward to 2019 and Cecconi has been on fire and continues to become a great player. The past 4 years, he played and has done amazing things for the University of Michigan as a captain and his stats go to show it. He is a key player on and off the ice and every season, he has more to show for and leaves the ice with impeccable plays. His resilient time as a Wolverine has come to an end, as he continues his hopeful road towards the NHL.
His journey as a prospect for the Dallas Stars has been rewarding and one to remember. Cecconi recently made his debut with Texas Stars of the AHL, a minor league affiliate for the NHL Dallas Stars.
T1EHL would like to congratulate Joseph, his family, and the Buffalo Jr. Sabres on his accomplishments. Jospeh, we are so proud to have had a player like you come through our league.
