Tier 1 Elite Hockey League

ALL MIDGET HOTEL TRIPS FOR LEAGUE GAMES EITHER SHOWCASE OR NON SHOWCASE (GAMES WITHIN THE DIVISION) NEED TO BE BOOKED THROUGH THE HOTEL PROGRAM OR YOU WILL RECEIVE A PENALTY FOR NON-COMPLIANCE. PLEASE SEE THE PROGRAM OUTLINE BELOW.

The list is for Detroit and Chicago Showcases and league games.  Please pick from the list and follow the program below.

Midgets - Any showcases or intradivision games played outside Detroit and Chicago, hotels will be booked by the Travel Manager.  Please follow the policy listed below.

League Travel Program

Outlined below is the league travel program.  It is not an optional program and should be used for all league games including showcases.  Any team who does not use the program for these games will be assessed a financial penalty per night per trip for each trip not booked through the program.

The program works as follows:

• Submit one request for each trip during the season.  Once you submit the form, it comes directly to the League Travel Manager.
• Choose from the hotel list in areas where hotels are listed on the Preferred Hotel List.  (U18 and U16 teams and Girls teams played in out of town locations will submit a request with a rink name and city only for areas where hotels are not listed)
• Once you submit a request, you will receive a contract if the hotel is available or be asked to pick an alternate hotel if not available.  It is always a good idea to send a 2nd option to save time. 
• Once you receive the contract, review it, and if you have questions, direct them to the League Travel Manager.  Once the contract is satisfactory, sign and send back to the hotel.  You can then deal with the hotel directly from that point forward. 
• Please pay careful attention to cutoff dates.
• Do not contact the hotel directly.  They will send you back to the League's Travel Manager.
